Who We Are

CAReS is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit agency founded 16 years ago by 4 local churches and other concerned Boyd County citizens. These founders recognized the need for organized assistance within Boyd County, thus avoiding duplication of services and eliminating gaps. CAReS has since grown to include 54 Covenant Partner churches as well as numerous individual and organizational supporters. CAReS works daily with these churches and other area agencies to ensure that those who truly need services get them. Likewise CAReS strives to identify gaps and fill them, such as with utility assistance and emergency food. Simply put, Boyd County CAReS.
